The Bulgarian federation of the industrial energy consumers (BFIEC) is an association of the major companies in Bulgaria, which are significant consumers of electrical energy and natural gas.

Our mission is the development of the energy markets.

The Federation represents the industry before the executive and legislative power, before the energetic companies and producers in relation with the problems of electrical energy and natural gas. BFIEC has an active policy for the development of these markets.

BFIEC is:

1. a non-profit association
2. unites companies from different branches
3. represents over 40% of the industrial consumption of electricity
4. represents over 40% of the industrial consumption of gas

BFIEC is:

1. for the liberalisation of the energy markets
2. for transparent price-formation
3. against corruption and cartels
4. for the development of operating legislation
